The Dunbar Street community became a community in the early 1910’s boasting streetcar service in 1913 from the BC Electric Company. The Dunbar community has large lots and tree lines streets with a diverse shopping area of clothing, toy, and grocery stores, an auto body repair shop, a theatre and library.
